John Ryther lives in Orlando, FL where is a freelance horn player and arranger. For 20 plus years he was a member of the World Class Brass at Disney's EPCOT Center. During these years he was the group's primary arranger as well as writing and arranging for many other Disney projects, including the music for the opening ceremonies of Euro-Disney. We are very proud to be offering what we feel are some of the very best brass quintet arrangements in the world. Thank you, John!
Dwight Decker (t'bone), Don Owen (trpt.)and Donald Zegel (t'bone) are all members of The Florida Orchestra in Tampa, FL and their arrangements reflect their years of experience as brass players and educators. Jay Coble is Professor of Trumpet at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida.
Jose Ursicino Da Silva, or Duda, as he is known in his native Brasil, is a 67-year-old composer arranger with an extensive background.He has been a member of the Recife Symphony Orchestra as a woodwind player and arranger. He has also written for jazz bands and for television. In recent years he has written many original works for the Quintetto Brasil. This quintet is an ideal vehicle for his style, based as it is on the brass band tradition.
Albert Tiberio is a graduate of the Juilliard School and has taught at the Koln Conservatory, the Brooklyn Conservatory and California University of Pennsylvania. He has been commissioned to write works for the dedication of the Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania and an upcoming trumpet concerto for Charles Sclueter and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
